Turn spreadsheet rows into calendar events
Sheet2Calendar is a Google Sheets™ add-on that creates and updates Google Calendar™ events in bulk, straight from the rows of your spreadsheet.
Get it on Google Workspace Marketplace
How it works
- Insert the template. Open Extensions → Sheet2Calendar → Insert ready-to-use template. It adds a
Calendar_Synctab with the right columns. - Fill in one row per event. Title and start date are required. Time, end date, description, location and guest emails are optional.
- Sync. Click Sync events to Calendar. New rows become events; rows you already synced are updated, not duplicated.
What you can do
- Create dozens of events in one click instead of one by one.
- Edit a row and sync again to update the existing event.
- Add all-day events by leaving the start time empty.
- Invite guests with a comma-separated list of emails.
- Choose which of your calendars receives the events.
Permissions and why they are needed
- View and manage the spreadsheet the add-on is used in: to read the rows of the
Calendar_Synctab and write back each event's ID and sync status. The add-on cannot access your other spreadsheets. - See, edit, share and delete your calendars: to list your calendars so you can pick one, and to create and update the events described in your sheet. The add-on never deletes events.
- Display content inside Google applications: to show the add-on menu and settings sidebar.
Your data stays inside your Google account. Sheet2Calendar has no server of its own and sends nothing to third parties. See the Privacy Policy for details.
